Victorian State Para Championships

The Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club proudly hosted the Victorian Para Bowls Championships, over four days, from Monday 22nd April to Thursday 25th April.

The standard of play, by the participants, was absolutely outstanding, displaying a high level of skill and sportsmanship, and the participants were a great inspiration to everybody, who witnessed the event.

Bowls Victoria were impressed with the facilities of the Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club, and thanked the Club  for the support, by way of greens preparation, use of facilities,  provision of meals and Bar service, over the four days, which facilitated the smooth running of the event.

This was made possible by the huge commitment of Club Members, who volunteered significant amounts of their time, over the four days of the Championship Event.

The Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club and its members were very proud and honoured to have been chosen, by Bowls Victoria, to host this important and prestigious event.

Biggest Morning Tea

On Friday, 29th May, the Club provided our facilities for the running of the Biggest Morning Tea, to raise money for the Cancer Council. It was a very successful function, with a huge crowd in attendance, with supper provided, and entertainment featuring music by local bands. Our Club was proud to be part of this important function.
