The Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club has no permanent staff. However Club Members volunteer their time to enable the Club to operate, and provide a number of services to the Community.

The Club has excellent facilities set in an open and welcoming environment, which the Club is keen to share with the Community.

Club facilities include:

• A large function area,

• A smaller function area for small parties;

• Fully equipped commercial kitchen and servery;

• Outdoor undercover, with tables and seating adjacent to Bowling Greens;

• Adjacent to the outdoor area is the BBQ shed, with power, fridge, hot water and servery;

• Access to fully licensed bar and club facilities;

• Three Bowling Greens, two with natural grass, and one synthetic;

• The synthetic Bowling Green, and one grass Green, have lighting to enable night bowls.

• The Club has two sets of Female & Male toilets, with disabled facilities.

  If you wish to hold a Corporate Event, have a Function, or Hire any of our wonderful facilities, please telephone the Club on (03) 5447 7300, or email via kfbc@optusnet.com.au, and leave a brief message stating your requirements, together with your contact details.

A Club volunteer will endeavour to contact you within 48 hours, to organise a visit to the Club, and organise an arrangement, which will suit your requirements.

CORPORATE EVENTS

The Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club has a large function room, with seating for up to 100 people, and has heating and air-conditioning. The Club can provide one, two, or three course meals.

The Club has an excellent Bar, and can provide either waiter or bar service. The Club provides a sound system, including microphone, and for media presentations, the Club has a large TV, which can be utilised.

FUNCTIONS

The Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club caters for:

• Family Gatherings;

• Anniversary celebrations;

• Christmas parties;

• Work break ups;

• Retirement functions;

• Card nights or similar;

• And is popular for those families who wish to hold a wake for a loved one.

  The Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club does not cater for teenage Birthday and 21st Birthday functions. Functions can be held with a number of different formats, and cater for small or large parties.

Options include:

• Function room and bar service, with catering;

• Function room and bar service, with self-catering;

• Function room and bar service, and no catering.

  The KFBC Member arranging the function, will advise patrons as to what form of decorations will be permitted for functions.

Facilities & Hire

The Club offers a number of options to utilise and hire our facilities.

Facilities available are:

• Bowling Greens, with Bowls and advice/coaching provided;

• Evening or Daytime Bowling;

• Access to fully licensed bar and club facilities;

• Fully equipped kitchen and servery;

• BBQ facilities, with Bar Service;

• Covered outdoor area, with chairs and tables;

• Choice of function areas.

Conditions of hire

• The club reserves the right to make decisions regarding the hiring of the facility, based on availability and function suitability.

• It is expected that the facility will be cleaned by the hirer, and left in the state that it was presented.

• The club reserves the right to retain part or all of any bond monies, to cover cleaning costs if required.

• All functions requiring alcohol must use the club licence/bar. No BYO alcohol is permitted.

• Bar staff will be provided.

• Under Liquor licencing provisions, no alcohol can be served after 11.30 pm. Patrons are required to vacate the premises by 12.00am.

• Unless the Bowls Greens are hired, Patrons are not permitted access to any part of the Bowling Greens. Any damage to playing surfaces may result in loss of bond and/or additional charges.

• No sticky tape, pins or other adhesives may be used on any surfaces throughout the facility.
